Recently, talking to a friend (you know who you are). He has a new puppy, and I have a (relatively) new daughter. He asked how Poppy was, and I told him that she was cuter that a barrel of puppies. He didn’t believe me! (Well, he has a very cute puppy I guess!)
So, That got me thinking. What’s better? Puppies or babies? Here’s 10 reason a baby is better than a puppy. (doubley true for Poppy of course!)
- If someone says your puppy looks like you, it’s not a good thing.
- It’s not cute when a puppy chews your finger- they have sharp teeth!
- Puppies don’t wear nappies- you have to go find those ‘easter eggs’.
- From day one- you have to puppy-proof your house before they chew cables etc.
- Babies smile and laugh. Puppies wag their tails. No competition.
- When a baby’s older, they can help with the housework and clean up after themselves!
- When you get a new baby, lots of people buy him/her presents.
- When you have a new baby, you get special time off from your work.
- With babies, hardly any grow up to be dogs.
- Babies are a great excuse for a party- Birthdays, Christenings, Christmas- repeat for every country, religion and culture.
