225g butter
50g Icing Sugar
Vanilla essence
175g Plain flour
50g Corn flour
Beat butter and icing sugar together, with vanilla.
Add the flours, and mix to a paste. (don’t over-work)
Roll into balls and place on a baking sheet -flatten with a fork.
Bake till golden – at about 170ºC
Can use glaze icing and a cherry to decorate.
